Youth and Children's Ministries
The Youth and Children of our congregation represent the future leaders of our church, state, and nation. As such it is important that we bring them up on the firm foundation of God's Word, teaching them about what it means to be a member of the Christian faith.
Children's Ministries

Sunday School, for pre-school through 8th grade, takes place following worship, September through May. The opening lesson takes place in the gathering room located just off the front, right side of the sanctuary.
WINGS, a Bible learning opportunity for pre-school through 6th grade, takes place on Wednesday nights in September through May from 6:00 to 7:15 PM.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week long program offered each summer for children pre-school through 6th grade.
The Christmas Eve Program is hosted and led each year by the children and youth of our congregation. This is an excellent opportunity to see that Jesus is the reason for the season as they share it with others.
These are just a few of the exciting opportunities for the children of St. John's to learn about and explore their faith. Other special activities take place throughout the year and will be announced in church or the upcoming special events section of our homepage!
Youth Ministries

Youth Group meets for Bible Study, service, and fellowship activities throughout the year. Keep checking back or join the youth group on facebook to see what the next exciting activity will be.
Confirmation Class is offered each Wednesday, September through May from 6:00 to 7:15 PM. The class explores the scripture and Luther's Small Catechism to gain a better understanding of their faith.
Bible Study on Sunday mornings includes a 7th and 8th grade confirmation recap class and 9th through 12th grade are invited to join with the adult Bible Study class.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week long program offered each summer. We encourage youth of St. John's to assist as teachers and volunteers helping others learn about their faith and growing their own as well through service and study.
